Alfred de Vigny dans le texte

The article is a study of Vigny's conscious and unconscious strategies of transtextuality in his work, especially in the Poèmes, the Poèmes antiques, Les Destinées, and Cinq Mars. Establishes that Vigny's own conception of fate or destiny – "C'était écrit" – sets the state for the writer's paraphrases of Scripture, the epigraphs that literally punctuate Cinq-Mars and his translation – adaptations of Shakespeare. Focus on Vigny's transtextual practices shows that Vigny is a poet "voué à la réécriture." (In French)
